The Proraso Beard & Moustache Competition is back at The Wahl Barber Expo for 2023!

This competition is a fun and frivolous show of manliness sponsored by industry professionals Proraso.

So get your beard on and your entries in to have some fun and win some great prizes.

Category Prizes

1st place in: Small Beard Verte, Full beard and Moustache categories will each receive:

Proraso Hamper and a $50 Dan Murphy’s gift voucher.

1st place in: Free style category a $100 voucher and a super sized Proraso hamper.

Cost for entering a category is $20.00.

Competitors can enter the comp and attend the Barber Expo free of charge. Spouses, partners or any other entourage must pay for a ticket to the expo to attend.

There will be 4 categories with 1 heat per category:

  1. Small Beard Verte

  2. Full beard - 10cm+

  3. Moustache

  4. Free style

Places are strictly limited.

  • Contestants are responsible for own transport and accommodation to and from the event.

  • Contestants must be able to attend heats starting at 6pm at The Nex.

  • There will be a presentation at the conclusion of the comp, sponsored by Proraso at 7pm.

  • We have a don’t be a dick rule; please be sober

  • All models consent to photographic and videography being published (no copyright infringement)

  • Judge’s decision is final.
